If you watch it, it will.  Basically small town, all the dead rise and return to their lives.  Husbands go back to wifes, children return to school, etc.  The main conflict revolves around a murder/cover up which would have slowly unraveled.  But then you'd also have other issues like where do you put all the people from the cemetary (in various states of decay) which would have provided other plot lines to follow through.  Close to "Brilliant But Canceled" territory.

^I saw that one too, but I prefer the one I posted since it gives more detail.  I particularly like that the monkey "wrenches" the robot.

While lacking the details of game play.

Oh, I see, it doesn't give the hand gestures.  Good point.  So someone needs to combine those into a single awesome picture.

A ZOMBIE bow, that is. :P

EDIT: In case anyone was wondering what a zombie bow looks like, I've attached a helpful illustration.

If the World War Z film is half as good as this concept art it would make on hell of a film.

Alright, watched it. My oppinion noi, meh. You are right the premise is good. Could make an excellent series. It's just that everything's solved in the pilot aside from "why are there zombies here?" That murder is already blantently solved, they showed how people react to various loved ones coming back, and they managed to show a store keeper defending himself against a zombie. All in the damn pilot. I mean geeze leaves nothing much to look forward to in future episodes. It's like making a "Lord of the Rings" tv pilot with a big climax being the ring falling back into the fiery chasm from whence it came and, expecting a series ok after that.

Plus the creators seem to be anti-women given the chosen backbone story. Essentially abused women get courage to kill their abuser. Abuser comes back to life and, gets to further torment them. Also, woman who becomes a necrophiliac and, jumps to have sex with her zombie used to be husband. The only woman cop just hides in the police station and, is told to leave the room for Zombie guy & cop guy to speak.

Finally by taking away the zombie weakness of decay and, shot in head = really dead. Any immergent resistant movement is kind of pointless. Oh yeah show already showed how usefull a resistance movement is.

All in all, still glad CBS passed on it. It's not the complete trainwreck I thought it was gonna be but, it doesn't make me want another episode. The story is essentialy told. There are a few minor loose ends but, loose ends happen with any series. It basically doesn't need another episode. It's like a movie that's okay as is.

(Yes I realize "now" is misspelled "noi" I left it for the luls)

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

I watch that episode and see writers willing to take chances who probably would have other plot elements to funnel in to make the series a constantly evolving thing, so you wouldn't want every episode to be providing answers to the overall story arc.  Personally I find zombies to be a bland idea, yet I watched the episode.  I forsee the show as more Picket Fences/Northern Exposure then anything else, that's not what most people want from a zombie show.
