Just finished "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"
What an excellent and compelling mystery. Great from beginning to end... ... ... except that after it ended the book went on for another fifty pages about the importance of sound financial journalism long after I stopped caring.
That's what you get when a financial journalist writes a mystery I suppose. Still a great book.
Just finished John Dies at the End, which was hilarious. Almost like a modern Ghostbusters. I just hope Don Coscarelli's film adaptation does it justice.
Also been trying to slog through a book Ferris recommended to me ( Liberty and Tyranny by Mark Levin).
War of Kings (do comic books count?)
I really liked it. Not as good as the "events" that preceded it, but good all of the same. Nova seems to be a victim of his own success recently and is too busy having zany adventures in his own book to particpate in galactic wars. It's too bad- during Annihilation, Nova was the bomb.* It's also too bad since it looks like he'll be doing the same thing during Realm of Kings.
