This project has really grown. Congrats on reaching the homestretch. :)
Thanks Ripplin, there is no freaking way I could've done any of this without you. I'm just waiting to find time to do the commentary, then edit the Trailer for my next edit to be included on the bonus features disc. I'll send it all to you when it's complete. And what's "the homestretch"? Haha

can't wait for this twist, which i think to many will make a lot sense, to see old and new footage meshed together to bring it all together.
When I first heard about this idea (InfoDroid's Reborn) I was freaking pumped! Then when I heard it got dropped, I installed Vegas and a bunch of ripping programs and got to work on my own take. I encouraged all others to do this too. It's been an amazing experience.

Seeing old and new combined will definitely shed a new perspective on everything, maybe even making some things more understandable than before.
I hope so.

so there will be NO torrents for this? The caps is for emphasis not a complaint.
Of course there might be... ;)
And for anyone who missed it...

I'm starting early work on my next fanedit. I'm taking a film from the early 80s, and through the use of new music, audio effects and video effects, I will be creating a fresher look. I am not releasing any more info about this fan film until the Star Wars: Renascent DVD has been shipped - which will include the Trailer to this project on it.
For now, I'm calling it, "Project: Lightshow".
Preliminary work and preparations this month.
Trailer by the end of this month or beginning of the next.
Project to begin production in mid-December.
Expect it to be completed by (or before) Spring of 2011.
