People Are Getting More Dumberer All the Time...

I've turned a thread I made at a couple of forums into my first real blog. It's mostly about dumb mistakes I find around town, but general foibles and such can be found there as well.

^Yes, it's all fresh from my little region of Ontario. ;) I do love looking at the failblogs and such, but they weren't the inspiration. I started taking some of my pictures years before failblog even existed. It's just now that I'm organizing stuff.

I just scanned a messed up greeting card last night that I've had for a good 10 years now! :p I also scanned a picture that I sent Jay Leno, who featured it on The Tonight Show around 10 years ago, too. (I missed it, but my brother saw it)

I mentioned at the two forums I started the thread at originally that I'm willing to post stuff they add to my thread as well and give them credit (you guys can add stuff here if you'd like!), but only if they originally saw it and took a picture or screengrab of it.

I was going to put this in the Random thoughts thread, but after Dayv's post there, it seemed inappropriate.

this is a letter to editor that was in today's Camden Country Courier Post:

The other day I was in my attorney's office to take care of a legal matter. While there, we went into his library to sit at a table and sign some papers.

Over in one corner was a copy of the Ten Commandments, while all around me were rows and rows of law books. I thought to myself, I bet if you traced every law in all those books back to there simplest form, they could all be condensed back to the original Ten Commandments handed down to Abraham. Whatever happened to K.I.S.S. -- Keep It Simple Stupid? My guess is the first law school.

can you spot spot what is wrong here?

Obviously the Decalogue was (according to the source material) handed to Moses (who under pressure went on to draught and/or allow to be draughted loads of really silly laws on top).

But most of the Ten Commandments are reiterations of the same thing,"For God's sake be kind to each other".

Close. The first 4 are,

"For your sake, be kind to me!"

and the remaining 6 are, as you said, be kind to each other.
