Take this video as an example. I think that what makes it less OTish is the camera movement following the main compositing figure (the chopper, in this case). I think that in order tu OTrize this a bit, the main chopper shot, with the moving camera (till 0:13) could rest. The stuff that goes from 0:13 to 0:18 should go off.
The next shot camera (which lasts till second 24) should stay quiet, which would imply literally a mess (if it'd be possible at all).
Another chopper shot (0:25 - 0:33): pointless. erased
And so on. Another thing I find as a constant in EpIII is wide shots taken from the ground. To be graphical: Mace lighting on his sabre when arresting Palpatine.
