Even if that where the case they would have to get there to save Han in at least 2 days before he died of thirst. I don't know how they could get there so fast. When Leia set him free from the Carbinite Han was not begging for Water I always thought that was strange. Well later I found out it was like 3 years between Empire and Jedi.
