Yeah, young adults have always been frequently cast as teenagers simply because it's easier.  They're autonomous.  There are no child labor laws.  They're available to film at any time.

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

The first Saw was good.  I saw 2 and 3, and have refused to watch any of the others.

I saw what you did there.

I don't like a lot of modern horror movies because of the gore.  I try to be careful what I put into my brain and I don't want a lot of gore or smut rattling around in there.

That's funny, because I didn't see it until you pointed it out.

And I've never had a problem with gore.  There just needs to be a halfway-decent story to support all the gore, which most modern-day "torture porn" flicks just don't have.

This Anti-3D stance is odd to me. There have been some crap 3D movies since Avatar, but they were all crap to begin with.

have you seen the 3D animated version of Christmas Carol?   I though it was good.  certainly not crap.

Replace that with a picture of a silver kettle, and you'll have it perfect...

Now that I am off Warb's naughty step could you please give us a more detailed response to viewing the film?

After inspiring a thread of five pages it would be interesting to get your reaction to the film (beyond the lack of scare factor for you).

What did you think of the characters, the writing, the direction that sort of thing?

As a person of faith did you find the film disrespectful, thought provoking or dull?

I shall have to watch it again to give you that stuff.
