Oh, man... I'll never get taken off of his ignore list if I CAN'T EVEN GET ON IT IN THE FIRST PLACE!

This sucks.

IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!

Got my 6260 from Don Ramon. He's a Los Angeles dealer (pawn shop?) who sells lots of stuff on eBay.

Speakers, in order of production:

- quasi-"001" system (DIY, with 'tater-masher horns, N1200, and D130 woofs instead of 130A)
- L36A
- L166A
- L50A
- L96 (plus extra N150A's for charge-coupling someday)
- L5

They don't all play at once. Heck, some are stacked in a corner at the moment.
I'm BJL over at the heritage forum (and real life.)

However, in practice you must take into account the “fuckwit factor”. Just talk to Darth Mallwalker…

Is it me or is it the Urei 6290 looks a bit slimmer on height on rack space that is! The cat seems interested in sniffing it out.

I haven’t noticed you, being on in the past as I do with most active members each day.

We don’t get cool Urei JBL items like this in second hand shops over here. SIGH the chances and odds are nil! Maybe in PA store under second hand, but never seen one in the past 20 years, just the newer amps Crown and QSC and so on.

Well I’m online 24/7 on LHF lots of good friends on the site, its family site.

Oh, I see you placed a mirror behind the amp so we can see the binding posts. Neat idea! :D

Isn’t that a liquid substance they place in the tweeters is not called ferrofluid that as smell to it, could it not be that that was oozing out of the tweeter?

Also it’s a bit sticky kinder like an oil base substance, never given it much thought.

Mirror's there so Zilch could see the binding posts are in a single column.
He had recommended that layout (some 6260's had 2x2 grid pattern) for anyone who does lots of lead swapping. I'm using banana plugs now, to make it even easier to swap.

Agreed with the swapping around of leads! I’m just screwing the cables into the back of the binding posts and its tricky in tight space as I can only get one hand in there to do it. SIGH I was thinking of banana plugs a few weeks back to make it easier.

Might add some to the list; look around fleabay for some reasonable priced ones as some cost silly amounts of money making it as it’s a big deal.

Ole Zilch has some cool ideas going around in his head good contributor to the forum site.

Sent you post on LHF.

I have minor issue to sort out soon, as the relay on the Kenwood AVR is clicking periodically on and off, no sound audio fault on when using the AVR as the outputs go to there own DCX2496 to amps. I think its dry joint on the underside of the PCB that needs to be fully undone I mean the whole circuit board lifted out of chassis that would take me the whole day of undoing it and looking for any dry joints on the PCB that is located near to the relays.

I haven’t tested it with internal amp to determine if there is an actual audio fault. If I tap the chassis, the relays click on and off real fast and that is sure no doubt about sign of possible dry joint on the PCB!

I only fixed the fluorescent display on the AVR early this year as that had dry joints at least 4 or 5 dry joints that prevented the IR working when sending remote control commands to AVR, also the display would go dim and a little tap on the AVR made it work, hence a dry joint on the PCB! And it took some 4 to 5 hours to get the sound system all full wired back up! SIGH LOL

I have another dry joint on one my Pioneer CLD-2590 on the composite video output three pins to solder not a big deal.

Dry joints are fairly common in some electrical faults. I wonder now if that was the case with my Cello DR-810??? I assumed the power supply module gave up the ghost?

No its not! Its about someone who is trying to come out of closet to confess, that he’s really homosexual. Wow you must like me so much to talk about another forum member! I don’t know of many other places that do this, once someone goes on his/her ignore list, no one starts up a silly childish immature thread, like what you’ve done.

Please grow up and get used to the fact you’re on the ignore list!

It’s not a laughing matter no more! It’s childish! Now grown up or piss off to another site!

I couldn’t care less who else is, on (so and so ignore list) on this, forum site.

If someone doesn’t chose to interact with you, that’s there right and my right I couldn’t care less who has me on the ignore.

Its only attention seekers like TV Frink who wants attention 24/7 Wow he must be like one of those lost puppies look for new home!

Seriously Star Wars fan or no Star Wars fan if you lived next-door to me, with this, attitude like TV Frink I would completely ignore you.

This conversation serves no more purpose, good bye and take care.

It's true.  Debating the obscure relative merits of DTS and DOLBY DIGITAL gets me really hot.

This is the truth.  You'll notice I haven't started threads about the other seven members who are ignoring me.  Not even Biff.

Pot kettle and black. You tell someone to grow up and yet you resort to the most childish thing by calling someone gay. Very mature that. And you're supposed to be 43? Geez. It's idiots like you that make me ashamed to be British. Man, we stopped calling people out like that when we left the playground And how is this any more childish that throwing your dummy out of the pram going around the internet posting the same old crap about how you won't buy the star wars blu-rays because they'll have DTS audio even though you know nothing about this? You are coming across far more immature than Frink is. At least Frink is being humorous when you are coming across as a little psychotic. I mean, come on, you put the same crap almost word for word on comments on star wars videos on you tube, star wars pages on facebook and then you invade here.

And you've been a member how long? What gives you the right to tell someone to piss off to another site just because you don't like them, especially when they have been here a lot longer than you have?. This isn't your site you know. The thread wasn't started to be about you. It was about who was being ignored by you because you put almost everyone on your ignore list which is something that was unheard of, especially putting people on the list you had had no interaction with. And don't come back with that "must have been a software glitch" bullshit that you spouted earlier because we're not as dumb as you try to make out.

Take a step back, look in the mirror and realise that you have some serious issues and then maybe you won't be the biggest joke on these forums

EDIT: I just noticed that you took me off your ignore list. I guess i'm back on it. Or are you going to be man enough to take some criticism? And i know what i wrote has come across as harsh but it really pisses me off when a newbie comes in here and starts telling older members to piss off out and think they own the boards. If you could hold a civil conversation like your reply ion the blu ray thread then i would be more than happy to have a proper conversation with you and be civil towards you. Sometimes you just do need to take a step back and see how you are coming across, because it isn't good at times.
