Say what we want about the National Anthem, it isn't as bad as Canada's.
O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
what so bad about that? I rather like it.

I dislike that our national anthem (Star Spangled Banner) is all about war. "America the Beautiful" is a much more fitting anthem, with a much more positive message.
seeing as we fought a war to obtain our country, I think its fitting.
True, but that doesn't mean we have to have an anthem that seems to glorify war.
I don't think it glorifies war in general. Its glorifies our victory in one battle. It glorifies the fact that after the battle, our flag was still flying. I see no need to politically correct our National Anthem.

I couldn't care less what the national anthem of the UK is. I'm talking about making Land of Hope of Glory England's national anthem: it doesn't currently have an official one. As for what is wrong with the aforementioned anthems, I just do not like either and think better alternatives exist.
What about Rule Britannia?
