Kenkraly, you really do seem to have a very blind faith that LFL care anything about what the fans think. If they did we would have had the restored HD versions of the original unaltered trilogy and not a 1993 laserdisc transfer. Even when the mistakes with the audio on the 2004 DVD's were clearly pointed out they came back with the most lamest of excuses that these were "deliberate creative decisions".

Here aresome of the reasons why it's pretty certain that the colours won't be fixed for the Blu-Ray release:

1. The colour altering was done BEFORE the transfers were sent out to Lowry. So to fix the colours they would have to go back to the original pre colour altered masters, then pay Lowry again to clean up the prints. This isn't going to happen as it was stated ages ago that they already have the HD versions ready for the blu-ray, which is more than likely going to be the exact same versions as the HD broadcast versions.

2. Money. If GL says that it's too expensive to restore the unaltered trilogy then he isn't going to pay to do another transfer just for the blu-rays when he has said he is happy with the way the 2004 versions looked

3. Evidence. People have seen the digital version for ANH at CV and the only thing that has been reported is that the green lightsabre didn't look green any more but the colour of the movie looked the same. So if the sabre isn't green then you can bet that this is the blu-ray version they will be using.

4. GL is more about making money with products having a high profit margin rather than making a quality product. He's spent money on the transfer already so spending more on it and having to start from stage 2 (after the scanning process) to return the OT to its original colouring would take a huge chunk out of those profits. He's a businessman now more than a film maker. He has become the one thing he was always fighting against

5. blinkered fans. Just look at how the 2004 DVD's were received by a lot of these sheep. They swallowed up all the bull that spouted by LFL about the quality of these DVD's. The "deliberate creative decision" for one and " they are George's original vision" for another. Whereas free thinking people that didn't go with this mindset were all just "moaners" and "they would never be satisfied". Lucas made a tonne of money with the DVD's and he knows he will do the same with the Blu-Rays no matter how crappy the OT looks, because of these set of fans.

Look at all the evidence in front of you kenkraly. If you're still so sure that these films are going to be "fixed" then there really is no hope for you i'm afraid. And, god man, you're starting to sound like a stuck record.
