This is my point: If the SE's had only included one or two very minor changes, such as a lightsaber being touched up or editing out a reflection of a camera or something, I would not be here protesting, I would buy the set as it was. I'm not pedantic or anal retentive, I'm not going to kick up a stink about such minor changes, and personally I have never said that the OT's shouls be on DVD for "historical purposes" or for archives; I want them so I can see the movies as I think they should be, and not as GL has decided they should be now. I know other people present different arguements but mine has always been that. We are not talking about minor changes when it comes to th SE's, we are talking about going back after the films have been released and changing them drastically, changing peoples lines, changing scenes, and yes, changing the story. I acknowledge that some people deny that the story has been changed, but when you add characters, add scenes from places not previously seen and changes peoples lines, that changes the story. Sure, some of the eye candy is cool, but as I have pointed out before, I have seen cool eye candy in PC games aswell; that doesn't mean I want them spliced into a movie. They just don't belong in SW IMO: But again, as I have said all along, if people want to buy th SE's then they should have that choice, and I should be able to have mine. Fair enough?
