Ok so today...

I went over all of the AOTC scenes where Anakin sounded whiny and lowered the pitch SLIGHTLY. (I doubt you would have realized unless I told you).

I fixed a bunch of fading errors.

Fixed random audio errors. (Bleeding, missed fades, a random "beep" sound)

I finalized the flashback Vader has.

I replaced a handful of AOTC scenes again.

I continued re-aligning the AOTC audio/video (it was out of sync before by 0.07 seconds).

I deleted one of C3PO's lines.

I adjusted C3PO's voice so that he no longer sounds like C3PO but just some other protocol droid.

Only four more AOTC sequences to fix!

Why would you want to do that? Can you elaborate your intentions behind this change?

Anakin making C3PO is just ridiculous. He now only has one line, and his voice is altered so that he seems like just some random protocol droid.

According to official sources, including Anthony Daniels himself, C3PO was built on Affa, only to be taken in by Anakin at a later stage. That doesn't make him the maker, but the owner. Wouldn't it somehow fit better to just try and remove Anakin mentioning he's building a droid?

That would still result in a shrunken, ingrown universe. Furthermore, it fails to satisfy the question as to why a slave on Tatooine needs an etiquette and protocol droid.

So very true. He claims he built it to aid his mother at home, but when you remove the line where he reveals just that, basically because he didn't, the droid loses all purpose, both in presence and existence.

I'm not even showing him in the PM scenes, he's in the AOTC scenes and he's shown on the Lars' farm - why doesn't Owen remember C3PO? It doesn't make sense. Owen needed a new protocol droid would make sense though, considering they would no longer have one by ANH. C3PO is in ROTS though. He'll be Padme's protocol droid - makes more sense for her to have one, and have it be gold. It takes care of many plot holes by just making him some other protocol droid. If you guys want, I can upload the ONE scene I have of him.

I have to be honest and say that hearing C3PO's voice that low, is much of a change, and kind of weird at first. If you intend to keep it, I suggest definitely adding an English subtitle track to the full length film, just to make sure, because I didn't quite understand his dialogue.

Anakin's voice change is very good though. That's sure to keep him from sounding even less like a whiny girl at some points. The scene where he confesses to Padmé having killed the Tusken camp comes to mind. That one should definitely benefit from it.

I didn't have any problems understanding 3P0 but i agree it is weird hearing a different voice. But that's just down to the fact of having already heard the original one.

I did spot something though. There is a something weird going on, like a stray frame,  on the video underneath the wipe at the end. Just look at the first few frames as the wipe starts and you'll see what i mean. Also, i forgot if you're working at 23.976fps or 25fps

I might remove the echo to the protocol droid's voice, but that's about the only change I'll make.

And ady, I haven't finished replacing the video in that scene - the video is only completed up to the 51.5 second mark. I knew you'd catch it!!! Haha!

R2D2 and the Protocol droid are cut completely, but there is a reason why I left it. If you cut from a group of characters to the same characters quickly in a different setting and much later, it makes the transition much more jarring and noticeable to the audience. Although, I don't really care for the scene with the droids, it was necessary to avoid this disturbance in the audience's sense of time and space in the film. If we followed them through the factory scene, that's different, but I cut that out. Instead, they both just walk into a trap.

See the thing is that you have the shot of them leaving the ship - this allows for the audience to experience their transition in setting and a better lapse in time. In my edit, I've cut them walking away from the ship, I've cut them entering the factory, and I've cut the factory sequence. It's not something that the viewer will consciously realise, but it's something that you're mind will know it's off - a lot like the 180 rule in camera work.

Well then you'll be happy to hear that they don't.

I'm still very curious to see if you can outperform Infodroid's trilogy trailer work. I mean, no offence, but he that thing lasted like, what?, two minutes? And he managed to move me on the brink of tears.

Haha I'm gonna warn you guys right now, that first of all I'm not trying to compete with Info, merely do his idea justice.

Secondly, SW:Ren - Clone Wars Narration is mostly plot driven. Parts II and III will be more character driven, for obvious reasons.
