LP rips do make nice DVD projects. See the Imperial Edition, or the Story of Star Wars, the Story of Empire Strikes back DVD's.

I only Wish someone would make a story of Return of the Jedi DVD.

Or a mock up super 8mm version of ROTJ. Since none was ever released.
