I will chime in. I listened to jedi and sounded to me too quiet like volume limiting was used, and also too clean the removal of the pops and clicks removed the detail.
I would like it if you had a raw version, but it is your project so i don't want to be a jerk or an asshole, you just asked my opinion. And i am probably unfairly comparing to the 7fn transfers, but 20th century mark did not have expensive equipment like you bought and his sounded better too.
The guy selling this equipment has gotten a lot of great reviews so i am surprised it is the same company. Perhaps the clean up software is the problem.
Still in the future i will be wary to purchase the equipment that is sold on that site.
I am also very surprised he does not have a lossless soltion for the cleaning process . Working only in 16 bit sucks no 24 bit is lame. Most older computers can only do 16 bit. I guess it depends on how much you think you can capture from an LP. I guess 16 bit is okay if you are going straight to CD.
But if you want to make a lossless DVD-audio disc it is kind of not the best, imho.
