well pardon me, I was still a little confused about a certain matter, which is why I was looking for clarification from the source, but apparently your time is too valuable. Maybe you should find out why i just haven't got the time to answer all these questions before you start being a dick. I fuckin help people out all the time but i have more important things to worry about at the moment than an edit i had finished with a long time ago. I even gave you pointers as to what you would need to do to be able to accomplish your goal. But i guess you want everything done for you. You picked completely the wrong time to be such an asshole towards me. I was actually going to take some time out to produce a new audio track that you could use and then all you would need to do is replace the one shot of Obi-Wan's slowed down cloak. But sod it. You're on your own.
I've heard all about your health issues, and the situation with your father, and in any of the PM's I sent you the first things I said were usually something along the lines of "hope everyone is well" or some other thought for you or your family. I had also, on several occaisions thanked you for your wonderful new edits and for bringing these movies back to life for me (and surely for many other fans as well). I've been nothing but polite and grateful. You specifically stated that you wanted nothing to do with this new edit and that we were on our own, which is fine....as no-one can tell you what to do with your time but YOU. So, I wanted a few simple issues cleared up before proceding (hell, I even asked for your blessing in moving ahead with this project.....which since its owned by lucasfilm I don't have to do, but did anyways, just to be polite) Do you understand that you've re-awoken passion for something that many had given up as a lost cause.......do you understand that you have grateful fans? Also, in the world of star wars re-edits you seem to be a sort of patriarch, with your edit being among the most popular......so I think its quite natural that you are going to inspire at least a few people to follow in your footsteps and make a version of this film that they've always wanted to see. Also, as previously stated, you're on a forum based website.....questions and discussion are what goes on here. Theres always the option of shutting off PM's if you dont want to receive them. Anyways, I apologize for disturbing you....I'm not looking for this to turn into a flame war.....I find your use of language somewhat unfortunate, but whats said is said. Apparently fans of your work can and should remain silent fans of your work. Now I know.
