I agree with Bossk about the voice and I also thought Obi-Wan said that because he didn't consider Leia devoted enough or to have the time to become a Jedi. (Especially if Obi-Wan sensed, as being part of the Force, that Yoda would die in about a year's time.) Your view is also legitmate of course.
