PADME: Obi-Wan told me terrible things... He said you have turned to the dark side . . . that you killed younglings...
Ok, I don't really like this part about younglings, but I have nothing against it as long as in Episode II Anakin doesn't tell Padme how he slayed everyone in that village. I admit that I borrowed this point/idea from that review I posted earlier, but it's true - why should she suddenly care about him killing the kids when in Episode II he explained her how he committed a genocide. She didn't care then, why should she care now?
EDIT: Ok, here's an idea, I will use this clip to explain it -

I think we can all agree that everything that comes after "Your new Empire?" is bad. So it would be cool if the scene would play out like this -
- Anakin says "I've brought this and that to my new Empire". Have him say that last part about Empire in the background while Obi Wan is touching Padme (@ 3:05);
- Then, after Obi touches Padme, cut to the scene at 3:10 where Obi rises up and says "Your new Empire?";
- (Remove "Don't make me kill you!" & "Anakin, my allegiance is to Republic!") and right after Oby says "Your new Empire?" cut to back-shot of Anakin at 3:20;
- put Anakin on mute and remove "Then you're my enemy" part. And then cut to the shot where Obi ignites his lightsaber at 3:26 and remove his "I will do what I must".
Then let the scene play out the way you already cut it - whit Anakin ignitining his saber and them fighting. I'm not sure if this is even possible, but that's my take on that scene. Removing as much dialog as possible I think is the best way to go. Because they are both good actors and they say more with their body language.
