Nope.  I disagree that the rise of furniture is ever increasing.  There was a recession in furniture rising in the late 70's and again a few years ago.  Sure, the furniture is rising at a pretty good rate right now, but it's not like you can't still sit on it.  And I suspect the rate of rising might decrease again soon.  In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see a slight sinking of furniture one of these days.


Supply and, demand was not the point I was gearing at. Simply elavation of each piece through the flow of time. The tables of old versus the current standard. Is the picture clearer now?
