Would it be possible to toggle the subs between "in the screen" and in the black bar?

But, that would require the viewer to press the subs button every time they pop in the discs. Not ideal I suppose.

I'd have to say that if I had the choice, I would want them in the black bar. Problem is, where would the subs be located on a (perish the thought) 4:3 TV? A projector set at a different AR?

Hmmm....

Maybe just put them in the viewing area and be done with it, as it was seen in the theater. Wow, I just talked myself out of my original thought, LOL.
