Just was reading that interview and came over to comment about the caps. They seem very different from the 2001 and a bit more like the ones I remember from my first viewing years ago.
Wish they had done a separate transfer for the Theatrical cut instead of just using the Redux IP. At least that IP is Technicolor dye transfer, and this whole thing is 2.35!
Probably will buy this although I don't have a player yet...
