Ady said that shot looks like more like a birth of a star and not like a galaxy.
Witch reminds that if the shot stays it needs some re mastering.
If not you can have whatever it looks good for an ending. From a broken planet to a sunset behind an asteroid field. who knows

I know we've had this discussion before waaay back in the thread, but I would like to see some modifications:
(1) if they are outside of the galaxy that the STAR WARS stuff happens in, the fleet could be put closer to the spiral arms while retaining the ability to tell it is a galaxy (to have the viewpoint we see in the movie, the rebel fleet would have to be 100s of lightyears away from the galaxy). If it is a star forming, maybe alter it slightly to indicate it is a star forming, as it looks exactly like a galaxy (maybe make the spiral arms more gaseous and amorphous, with the star looking more like this:
maybe take out the orange to keep the white-ish appearance).
In regards to other posts about the stars being other galaxies (if the galaxy IS a galaxy), also keep in mind that the light from the galaxy would wash out the ability to see any other stars/galaxies, so it would still appear black around the galaxy... IF it is a galaxy...
(2) probably my biggest beef is how the Falcon just zooms up and off to the left side of the screen. If it is the SW galaxy, wouldn't the Falcon fly towards the galaxy? If it is not the SW galaxy, wouldn't it still be more visually logical/pleasing to show the Falcon zooming off to the lower left (or simply zooming away slightly to the right in the same direction it was leaving the frigate, so we see more of the back as it heads directly away from us, as opposed to flying wonkily off to the side - ala the Falcon heading towards Yavin 4, after it goes under Yavin) then give the impression that the Falcon model is being pulled off the screen ala the Poochie cell in the SIMPSONS episode?
