In star wars and Empire we listen only once the word stormtroopers.

"Only imperial stormtrooper can be..."

"Stormtroopers? here? I must allert the others"

Now if you noticed the word clone is mention numerous times in the last PT films. not to mention Clone wars series.Younger viewers can messed it up.

I admire OT that mentions so little about names and shit. PT is full of these.

With 3 persons now behind the keyboard  can cause confusion :P

Ady: do you have any special equipment such as camera stabilizer, cranes and some studio lights that will help you finalize the look of your future props?

Or you will rent a studio that will do the job too?

I was wondering if some shots with props will require too much job for such a small screening time unless you are planing to re do radically the sequences. You can also build some partial parts and use mirrors or blue screen effects like the old times to make the process faster?

Well in ANH clones are mentioned a couple times.  But yeah I agree.

Ady, how are the models and props coming along?

Children in the backseat of a car can cause accidents, but accidents in the backseat of a car can cause children.

Whilst we are talking of models.....well Lord Grievous was, Fine Molds are now taking orders for a new batch of 1:72 Millennium Falcon's, which sold out a couple of years ago and which Ady (and myself also) paid a fortune for......due out in Dec.

Wow.  That is indeed quite humorous, and ironic.  But hey, whatever works! :D

Maybe it had to be that way to get the right light for the shot

I noticed that the new 20th century fox fanfare graphic pans up to reveal a huge 75 for their anniversary.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-Ef4YdJu88

I'm sure this has already been worked out but I was just thinking instead of a 75 that big open space would be a perfect pan up into ADYWAN's official name/logo instead for his project.

Nah, he should stick with the same logo he used for ANH:R for all subsequent Revisited projects.  For consistency's sake.

Well apparently in the EU The faceless AT-AT was pilotless machine designed by, you know the stormtrooper who found the droids bolt on Tattooine...well not him, the guy to his immediate right in that shot.... well anyway this "Shadow-Walker" was designed to match the motions exactly of its counterpart Walker as seen in the picture and wreck double the carnage....except it didn't have any weapons.

Their mission failed due to the fact, as Sluggo noticed, that due to it's counterpart that it was shadowing having only three legs, they both fell over.

As much of a talented artist as you may be, which I still find extraordinary, since you're self-taught, I still think it's great that you're not touching anything besides OT and PT.

Now I've got a question that still bothers me quite a bit.
I know, trust me, I KNOW, that virtually no-one was happy when Lucas had Temuera Morisson dub the lines of Jason Wingreen, but doesn't it make sense?

They're all clones, so they should all sound alike. If the OT was set first, it would make sense for the clones to have Wingreen's voice. But we all know Lucas revisits his OT about a thousand times while creating the PT, so there's no way that would work, so he got it the other way around by having Morisson change all the Wingreen lines.

In short: Why not keep Morisson's voice? It's the one that makes sense.
(Even though you can hear the Australian accent at times)

@The others: I know you're all going to shoot me for it, and I know Ady will reinstate Wingreen's voice in (let's face it) all its glory.
I just want to see Ady's reasoning behind it. Nothing more.

Dude, the way I see them clones - they are like twin brothers.

Two of my buddies are twins and they both sound different. They look the same, but they sound different and I think that's because they don't live the same as the other one. They have different lifestyles.

Clones in PT were the same because they ate, drank and trained the same. They lived together in equal spaces. But Boba had a different life than clones, you don't know what Boba has been doing. For all you know he's a weed addict and his voice sound different because of that. Or he's on steroids and has his own death metal band where he is the lead singer.

Use your imagination, man. Star Wars is FANTASY. Use yours to fill up the holes the way you want to.

And also - the original voice kicks ass, but Morrison's version, on the other hand, sounds boring. He has no emotion or character in his voice (as much as I like the guy as an actor).

And even though I'm having an awesome time on the ANH:SE Redux Ideas thread, I've always thought that OT>PT.

And that's the explanation you need - OT>PT. No matter what.

He's not Australian, don't blame us. He's a Kiwi. But even discounting the fact that twins can sound very different, Adywan has said every damn time this has come up that he will be changing the voice in the PT to match.

Personally, I'm hoping Jango becomes Boba in PT:R.

Sounds very logical. Never thought of it that way.

True. Morrison's version is inferior by far, I'll give you that.

OT>PT. No matter what.

Obviously.

Never meant to. But you've got to admit, he sure sounds like one.
Then again, New Zealand being so close to Austrialia is a Ric Olie explanation.

Adywan has said every damn time this has come up that he will be changing the voice in the PT to match.

Yes well, if you tackle the whole OT ánd PT, you pretty much eliminate EVERY conceivable flaw Lucas ever created. In which case, I rest mine.

Thank you both for the clear-cut answers.

True, Tem is a kiwi, but he is actually a very good actor. Watch 'Once Were Warriors'. His performance is legendary. The only reason he sounds so bad in the PT is because GL can't direct to save his life. Ewan McGregor is another great actor but he comes across very wooden in the PT.

However I do agree that the original voice should be restored. It is what I remember and accents are based on upbringing, not on genetics. There is no reason Jango and Boba should sound alike.

I think Ady said he'll make it so that Boba is Jango's real son, not a clone, and as Boba wasn't brought up by Jango since he was about 10, there is no need for them to sound the same, it would actually be very unlikely.

Interesting angle. I may have not stressed this enough in my post, but I actually only wanted to know from such a point of view where you would consider Boba a Jango-clone, no strings attached. No changes in upbringing, no differences due to being raised without growth hormones, etc...
Just plain old clones look and sound like their original. Period.

If you take in calculation the different upbringing and what-not, then of course it makes more sense for Boba not to sound the same as Jango.

Besides, I think we can all agree Wingreen's performance outclasses Morisson's by a mile (if not more).
