I had a warehousing job at the time. We really were dependent on the boss's old boom-box to hear what was going on. The details were rather sketchy of what was going on early on. We thought it was an accident at first so we went back to work until the boss called us back in an hour later. I didn't get to see the footage until I got home that night. I still can't watch it without being a little sick, and a little angry.

I spent the morning in peaceful thought and meditation. On the way home, I was a little saddened that one on the local hotels didn't have their flags at half mast. I'm gonna send them a letter.

I then spent some time with my brother who is in the Air Force. I really appreciate his service.

All in all, I spent a good day with family and in thanksgiving. I'm a bit sad it took such a horrific tragedy to appreciate all I have, but I was not going to let the day get by without using it in the way that is best for me.
