have you even read/seen Akira? Tetsuo is a huge monster at the end... and i DO mean huge!

I've seen it about 10 times. Yeah, I know, but he starts as a human, and then get his powers. A real mosnter must be born a monster, or created as one. If you have been human once, you disqualify for being a monster. You could be a freak, though (Elephant Man comes to mind).
