I agree Harmy, the section I slowed down to fill that section was slowed to about 30%, it doesn't look right, gonna try it again maybe put in an Imperial officer (Commander)

Angel honey... don't mess with the Grand Moff or with Leia's lines that's really unnecessary...Lucas screwed up the Vader character in the later films in the first two you get a character arc of a type forming.

In ANH he is forced into playing second fiddle to Tarkin who is genuinely chilling (unlike Darth Snore, Count Coocoo and Darth Spurious), in the second film he has the chucks pulled away and he can push people around at his leisure.

Making Vader already the second in line to the throne was the big mistake of ROTS and to some extent ROTJ.

Vader worked better as Palpatine's pitbull than his mrs.

That slowed down footage is interesting but I'm not sure it's working for me after all.

It doesn't look bad, don't get me wrong you did fine...but I guess it's the fact that he still seems to talk fast as well that is throwing me off. JEJ voice simply goes high and emotional in that particular scene so I don't think there's much one can do to calm him down.

Maybe if his movements were not as slow...which it looks like you are going to try next?

Hey - just curious a while back I suggested maybe making more of a highlight out of the part at the end where Vader senses the force is strong in Luke while following him.

Have you ever thought of maybe editing that part so maybe Vader pauses longer or there's more a lingering shot hinting that perhaps Vader senses more than just the force in the pilot.

could an alternative approach be inserting a shot of an imperial officer taking the orders?

Are any of guys working on an edit officially yet or is this stuff still mostly just suggestions/tests?

I'm not working on anything but I'm open for suggestions........radical or otherwise.........first thing I'm removing are R2's socks!........there I said it!
