Arguing that not wearing your seatbelt is just as good as wearing it doesn't sound reasonable at all. Regardless of what "the man" says, you are better off wearing the thing. Ideology aside, it is just smarter. I think my insurance premiums are a bit high, but if I need my appendix out, I'm not going to 'stick it to the man' and take it out myself.
I think Bingo was being perfectly reasonable for a while until you tossed logic out the window in favor of your soap-box.

I wasnt arguing that, per se, it might have came up as I sensational example of times it cant be as safe. The whole argument that it should be a recommendation to do so and not a law

No, I could see things from his point of view, and said it was the norm, but he completely threw out my "conspiracy theory" point of view of reasons why this is a law, while safety might be a part of the reason, it is not the whole reaosn, nor the main reason in my opinion
Edit: And his viewpoints are not the reason he was marked down as unreasonable, it was when he had to resort to nonsense pictures he became an asshat

Can't speak for anyone else, but I only hijacked this thread because CompMovieGuy was, like you said, asking for it. If anyone else had started this thread*, I would have respected the wishes of the OP.
