Normally I use newsleecher in combination with eweka, but I also tried Altbinz with a different provider. And yes, files deteriorate. You won't be able to download anymore.

I asumme that you're also from the Netherlands as you use a typical dutch usenet provider. I have all 6 BR discs on my NAS so if you're not to far from Rotterdam you could come over and copy them on a HD!
