Most of the jokes are concentrated in themed and skippable threads but certain topics are bound to encourage irreverent humour and sometimes that's going to take the shape of pictures.

Jay didn't put it there as an act of whimsy.

He put it there because waaay back when I was but a lurker the forum really could be a truly nasty place but now considered moderation, site design and the level headed attitude of most of the people who post here has made that largely a thing of the past.

To dismiss Frink's contribution to the community is really disingenuous.
