Actually as the last fighter group out of there that would make sense. Maybe show a ditched T-47 snowspeeder somewhere in the background as it would take too long to load them apparently. ;)
I thought we addressed this? There's no way that "T-47s" are snowspeeders, EU be damned. They're some kind of heavy equipment that a MEDICAL DROID is interested in loading, and can't.  Does that make sense as a snowspeeder? Of course not.  BAD EU! BAD!
Angry Imrahil, is angry.

While I do agree that it makes no sense for a Medical Droid to be interested in snowspeeders, its ok for Rogue Leader to refer to them by their EU name.

Mmm... "EU be damned..." lol... I could care less if you dislike the EU, object my use of it, or what have you... I never once suggested adding more EU to Revisited if that where this objection is coming from (but I have said that sometimes Ady's additions supports the EU inadvertently, not on purpose, nor have I suggested anything as such to Ady for adding more...). Regardless, it was understood what I meant so the point was clear and that is the bottom line, that my communication was understandable. So I don't understand this dramatic objection as it helps no one nor Revisited.

Actually why can't medical droid be interested in military evacuation procedures? The entire Rebellion is a military op, even a medical droid who's in the service of the military is perfectly entitled to question even minor things about the topic of the day: getting the fierfek off of Hoth... We see 3PO bitch and whine about all kinds of stuff on a variety of topics. How they hell does a protocol droid know that navigating and asteroid field is 3720 to 1? Perhaps 2-1B concern about space in the transports and doing things efficiently so that there is room for medical equipment (actually he IS medical equipment) and avoiding a logistical nightmare... Sounds reasonable to me.

Perhaps your objection is with the word "modules"... No... they can't be snowspeeder aka T-47s. Although, just for fun let's pick this apart. The word module can relate to the word "modular" in which leads to the idea of modularity, which means

  • In industrial design, modularity refers to an engineering technique that builds larger systems by combining smaller subsystems.
  • In manufacturing, modularity refers to the use of exchangeable parts or options in the fabrication of an object. (special thanks to wikipedia for existing)

Snowspeeder (I'll use your terms, for now, as not cause further objections) are based off of standard military class speeder. They have been MODIFIED to work in the snow (or do I have to quote several lines from ESB to support this...) and therefore their design is.... wait for it.... wait.... MODULAR (mmm... this one thinks "modified" maybe related to modular or modules... interesting). That is not EU, that is in the movies and thus canon. Furthermore, there are many kinds of speeders which are typically named with a prefix of the type of environment they are being used in ie swampspeeder, skyspeeder, sandspeeder, oh and our fav... snowspeeder. That is EU mostly, although it makes sense to me, sorry if it's too complex or overly EU, but like I said I don't care about such objections. Heh, I guess if I don't care, I'm not sorry then... sorry bout that. =P

So in my opinion the T-47 could be the snowspeeder and "smaller modules into the transports" mean something like snowspeeder bikes? I don't see why not... Maybe they couldn't get them to work but they could pack'em up and use'em else where, thus "getting the smaller modules in to the transports". Mmmm... "but we don't SEE speeder bikes..." some would say... no we don't... but we know they exist (at least on the Imperial side lol). In a galaxy full of fun and fancy repulsor tech why use a smelly bipedal animals (other than the cool/interesting factor)? Mmm... ah well. In my mind it make sense... then again I am slightly crazy... =D So whatever.

If you have a problem with the way I phrase things... err.. I was gonna say "sorry" again but then we've established that I ain't. ^^  Therefore... meh.  Object all you want, but prepare for an very long reply which takes away from concentrating on Revisited... It's probably better to PM me of your objection(s) concerning me/EU... Then I can just reply in kind. I look forward to them. ^^

Thanks OO5, I have a more round about way of making my points... Wish I could make it short and sweet but I'm neither of those. XD

PS I could of gone into the several models of Incom craft designations that start have "T-##" but that may cause more discussion not related to Revisited. PM! =D
