No I don't complan ok.

No,  you just keep on telling us to stop complaining.

It's people like you that is everything that is wrong with todays society. You just lie down and let the shit get shoved up your ass. People use to stand up for what they believed in. Now, when they do, you get some muppet telling them to just accept it. But why should we accept the fact that the films we grew up with and are so passionate about are just brushed aside for an inferior product. These versions are the ones that existed for 20 years before the special editions. We don't even get the Special editions that were in the theatres. Instead we get movies that are tampered with even more.

And for all those that say that the Special editions are Georges true original visions of these movies then you really need to stop being a sheep and learn to think for yourself once in a while instead of believing the revisionist bullshit. The Special editions were nothing more than a test for the prequels. It was a test to see if the technology was up to the task and also if people were still passionate enough for Star Wars that they could release a new film at the cinemas. And do you really still think that the new versions of the Special Editions are what George originally intended for thse movies back when he was making them? Oh come on. Get a fucking brain. How the hell could he have originally wanted Hayden Christensen to be Anakins force ghost at the end of Jedi? Did the bloody doctor visit George and take him off in his TARDIS so he could see what Anakin would have looked like in the future? NO. And was it his vision to have Greedo shoot first? NO. That one had nothing to do with the limits of technology back then. He changed Solos character by changing this scene. If he originally intended it to be this way then he would have originally edited it this way.

All this time George has told the fans that the Unaltered trilogy can never be released in a higher quality then the laserdisc transfers we got for the 2006 Bonus DVDs because they don't exist any more because the original negatives were cut up to create the Special Editions and that any existing prints are in such a bad condition that they couldn't be used. . Now the story has changed to the fact that it would be to expensive. So it now can be done but is cost prohibitive, even when people have offered to restore these films for him for next to nothing.

I can see in a few years time that this is just another lie to get people to buy these Blu-Rays instead of waiting for the next set which would contain the unaltered trilogy remastered. It's all about sales. George has become the thing he hated most about the film industry.

I'm going to be buying the Blu-Rays purely so i can have the highest quality video to work with for my edits, nothing more. If i wasn't doing these edits then i wouldn't buy the set, especially when i would be forced to buy a box set with the crappy prequels, which i wouldn't want.

If you are happy with the versions with the crappy colouring and rubbish additions then that's up to you. But don't even think about coming in here, again,  and telling people that they should "Stop Complaining" because these sets aren't going to contain a restored version of the untouched original trilogy.
