I've always thought that the Hellraiser films (all of them including the first one) though full of really good ideas are smeared with so much cheese it detracts from the viewing experience.
I realise that some fans adore the "let's get the hell out of here" style lines and the obvious America/UK location blur etc but if you are successful with this project you may want to turn your eye to the whole set.
And by the whole set I include all (but the final) later sequels which are nowhere near as bad as some fans make out.
Inferno (for all of Clive's bitching) is closer to the feel of the original source material (his own The Hellbound Heart) than any of the films he and his pals made.
Hell On Earth has some good moments in it which might be better served dropped into the narrative of one of the other films.
