If Lucas releases a blu-ray set, chuck full of deleted scenes and other special features, (with) the OOT, he would have nothing left for the 50th Ann.

There's another thread about it in general.

heavens to betsy, now there's a third!! If a fourth is made, I'm killing [strike]myself[/strike] you.
Dude, that thread was started in April. Yours is the "third."
And I'm a gonna ignore the whole killing thing.
How are we missing the obvious. The big picture is Lucas has destroyed star wars. Has rewritten history, claims the originals no longer exist, too expensive to restore. Whatever. At this point i don't think anyone with a brain buys his excuses.
“Always loved Vader’s wordless self sacrifice. Another shitty, clueless, revision like Greedo and young Anakin’s ghost. What a fucking shame.” -Simon Pegg.
I'm missing the big picture. As I explained elsewheres, my browser doesn't support "Rick Click->View Picture" so when Frink posts tiny pictures, it's a lot of work for me to actually see it.
IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!
"[George Lucas] rebooted the franchise in 1997 without telling anyone." -skyjedi2005
"Yeah, well, George says a lot of things..." a young 1997 xhonzi on RASSM
"They're my movies." -George Lucas. 19 people won oscars for their work on Star Wars (1977) and George Lucas wasn't one of them.
