I don't know, I kinda like this one, it makes a lot of sense:

1) My forum name used to be Lord__Vader when I was mostly a lurker but then, when I wanted to release a project I asked Jay if it could be changed to a name I usually go by on-line. I ceased to be Lord__Vader and became Harmy and the avatar reflects that.

2) It actually shows my face (well, not my whole face but my eyes and nose, but you'd know me if we met in person).

3) It's a classic STAR WARS moment.

4) I usually find it really confusing when people change their avatars.
