^^ Here is the new Luke scene in question - it's actually quite awesome..........the timing will actually be perfect for it's release. Either the scene will be added into the SE version of the movie - or - at the very least it will be an extra. So maybe if it's good enough quality AdY can include it in RoTJR.

I guess ESB:R will be postponed till 2011 so Ady can get a hold of the new ESB:R deleted scenes..... ;)

LoL - I don't think AdY would do that. However I do wonder what deleted scenes if any from ESB could be in there which could be worth editing back into the film?

I think ESB holds up well enough on it's own and whatever upgrades AdY is doing will pretty much complete the film.

The only scenes I can think of off the top of my head that were filmed are the deleted wampa/rebel base sub plot.

Which I agree is not needed for the film. The rebels have enough problems with Darth Vader attacking them.

I was happy about the deleted scenes from the announced Blue-Ray, but then I thought to myself, I probably won't buy them since they still won't be as good a quality as Adywan's !

They won't be have the care and patience poured into them that he has done.

Now if Ady was releasing a Blue-Ray version, then I would be jumping so high that I would probably hit my head on my ceiling!!

Seeing C-3PO set a trap for the Snowtroopers is a pretty cool idea, but I can understand why they cut it out as it does slow down the pacing of the scenes. It still would be cool to see, certainly as a DVD extra.

Glad Adywan isn't putting ESB:R on hold, despite what might be on the ESB BluRay

True enough. Everyone knows Ady won't incorporate any new stuff, be it DVD, or Blu-Ray. He's just postponed it to 2011 to get funding together. It doesn't have anything to do with George Lucas.
So no, I'm certain Ady won't be adding in the lightsaber scene.

And now, back to ESB:R?

Who cares the blu-ray edition of Star Wars? The dumb parts will be remain in from the Special edition, and a Star Wars Revisited DL DVD version is sharper than a regular dvd on an LCD TV and the coloring is better for the eyes, so I don't care.

Yeh Handzz, I agree, no matter what the 'official' Lucas product is released even if it does have further tinkering, it still won't have had the care and attention of SR & ESB:R.

And yet years later, they added in that scene of Vader leaving Cloud City and arriving on the Star Destroyer, slowing down the pacing of the scenes. Oh Lucasfilm, you're so wacky sometimes. :p

Does it say much about my lack of a life that I found myself dreaming about Revisited last night?

Actually it was more of a nightmare...

Ady had decided that as Empire was the only movie that didn't feature Tatooine, he was going to add a scene set there right at the start of the movie.

It had AT-ATs (thus ruining the impact of their appearance through the binoculars on Hoth)

And they galloped just like in that famous Robot Chicken skit:

What's more. Everyone here seemed to love it.

I woke up screaming.

...ok that part might not be true. Still, pretty scary.

Give us the time machine first - this edit isn't due for completion until next year. In the mean time, check out Adywan's brilliant edit of "A New Hope", subtitled "Revisited" just like this edit that is currently still in production.
