Darn, you told him what game they were from! I was hoping to hear what Frink thinks they are, since he's so old (school). ;-)C3PX said:

Oh, thanks to this thread I know what game they're from. That's how I found them - GIS'd "Bioshock Cosplay."
And I see what you did there...*

Little Sister, right? She harvests some magic potion stuff or something and Big Daddy protects her.
I think.
Close enough. I haven't played it either, I'm just giving you a hard time. :-PTV's Frink said:

Xhonzi and I were talking about BS one time, and surprisingly Fink popped up and admitted that the storyline actually sounded rather interesting.

True dat.
I haven't even looked at BS 2 and they've already anounced the next one [Bishock Infinite]. Might wait and get it cheap. I got orange box cheap so I'll keep my eyes open for any other bargains around.
Right now i'm just replaying and finishing off other games while I wait for Reach.
I might try to finish wet but it's just so....so....horrible. In all honesty I only got it [cheap]for the lols. And in that regard it's been fun. It's just a shame that the gameplay sucks so badly.
I've also [sadly] lost interest in Batman: AA, The last thing I remember is a bunch of vines sprung up all over one of the courtyards. I should probably try to get back into it.
Did anyone else get in on the Reach Beta? lots of fun but it's spoilt me now, I go back to Halo 3 and think it looks crap [in comparison]
Gonna get together with the lads today and try polish off ODST on legendary [i think i only have 1 misson left].
I actually feel kind of excited about New Vegas and despite my difficulty in getting into single player games as of late, I kind of want to get it when it comes out, but at the same time, when I think of all the hours I spent playing the first game I am not so sure I really want to make that kind of commitment to a game again.
Same, it actually took me a while to condition myself to stop drinking irradiated cola ;)

That's probably Poison Ivy type shit. I do want to play Arkham Asylum.
Absolutely no fucking way will I touch another HALO game, unless if Microsoft gives me 500,000 MS points.
Can't wait for New Vegas.
ODST didn't seem like it would grab me, but Reach looks like it might, and I'm not even following it that closely.

I am kind of feeling the same way. Might change my mind, Halo did provide some fun co-op, and Reach sounds like it will be really overhauled. I think it is how archiac that Halo feels as a shooter than prevents me from enjoying it these days. Shooters have just evolved to offer so much more, and Halo 3 all in all really hasn't come that far from the original Halo. Neither did ODST, but I felt it made some fun improvements that made it worth while. If Reach feels like it has made an effort to modernize itself, and is not just more Halo 3, which was just more Halo 2, which was just more Halo... then I might be able to get behind it.
ODST's atmosphere and the fact that you were no longer an over powered super hero is really what appealed to me about it. In this regard, Reach just feels like a massive step back to me, now instead of just two super heroes, we get a whole team of them!!!!!!!!1 And some of them are sporting really badass armor and attitudes!!!!!!!!!!!11! Like Master Chef only more awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111!1

Whoa! This is the first I have heard of this! I just did a quick google search and got and saw a few screen shots. I am actually really excited about this now! I am so happy they are leaving Rapture at the bottom of the sea and going for a different story. One visit left us hungry for a return, two visits was just enough. There are other interesting stories along those same lines to be told, and I am really excited to see they are doing that!
EDIT: Trailer had me grinning like an idiot. Absolutely awesome idea! Loved the opening. Bioshock 2's trailers and advertisements got me excited, but the actually game failed to keep my interest for long (for one, I think it felt too much like I was playing the first game again and the appeal of the first game to me was the fact that it was so unique and different. When a sequel feels like it could have been a really long expansion pack for the first game, then I feel it kind of fails as a sequel... though I give L4D2 a pass on having that same issue, since in its case a really long expansion pack was exactly what I think a lot of us, myself included, wanted).

I'd say check out Reach and then make up your mind. As far as i've played it is certainly different to halo 3 - although familiar.
Halo 2 and 3 never really captured the fun of halo1. ODST was a step in a more fun direction at least.
They've refined the weapons to be useful again, and there are loadouts now including things like JETPACKS :).
So I've been playing Zelda 2 on NES for a while now, and I don't see why everybody hates on it so much. I LOVE this game!

I think it is because everyone just gives up too easily. Yeah, it is a really awesome game! As much as I loved Ocarina of Time, which many people proclaim as the best Zelda ever, I still have to put it below Zelda 2 on my list (proceeded by the original and A Link to the Past).

Link or it didn't happen.
Ha-ha, I kill me.
I went internet dark on Thursday night and didn't see the BioShock Infinite announcement until today.
I'm very interested in playing this game, but I am a little confused at calling it BioShock when it seems it will have little to no connection to the 2 Rapture based stories. I do question how long they could have kept Rapture going... but they maybe should have called this game AeroShock or something with their long-running *Shock name other than BioShock.
Also, I'm wondering if this game will have a strong anti-Patriotism spin. That will probably kill my interest in it.

I liked it too. Been FOREVER since I've played it though, like 18 years at least. I LOVED the original Zelda better than all though. Just thinking about it brings back fond memories of me playing Zelda late, late, late at night in my room back in the 80's.
Hey, I played the original Zelda a few times too!!!
I love when I know what the hell you guys are talking about in here.
This discussion made me go look up some old NES stuff, man, I love those old childhood memories. Wished I could do it all over again!
I never had a NES but a friend did and I played a lot of the classics. Good times :-)
