I would love to see TMBTM grindhouse edit but do not know how to use torrent sites. Is there another way to watch this or download it/stream it?
This definitely has a War of the Stars look to it:

I don't even think there is a torrent for it. ;) Check out fanedit.info.
Just watched, pretty good. What did it for me was right around the end, when the fighters are getting ready to take off...
no spoils, but definitely worth seeing, lol
Well done.
Vetta, if it's not a secret, where did you get your icon from? That's about the most bizarre/awesome piece of SW fan art I've ever seen!
Where were you in '77?
How can you even tell what it is? :p I'd never guess Star Wars looking at it.
I've seen that before. I'm pretty sure it was on one of the lolcat network sites.

Thanks. I forgot that it shows the full size version there.
I feel like I'm the last person on the planet to actually see this, but WOW! Simply amazing, and a testament to the power of editing. I was laughing so hard at times, Jaxxon started throwing things at me.
It conjured up fond memories of a primitive "fan edit" some guys I knew in high school did, over two decades ago.
The Vader red eye thing was totally cool. As were the unexpected plot twists.

Thanks SilverWook ! :)
Glad you liked it.
I haven't seen it in a while. I think I previewed it twice, then watched it at least once after it was officially released, probably to do my review of the finished version. But every time someone replies in the thread here or at FE.org, I want to see it again. :) My mother hasn't seen it yet either.
Both of my cousins loved it but the general consensus seemed to be they preferred your Jaws edit (I loved both equally).
I hope you do some more.
He knows we're coming after him with pitchforks and torches if he doesn't do the whole OT....
I'll bring my scythe!
Scythe matters not, look at me, judge me by my scythe do you?
*groan...
...but smiling as I do it*
Can I get this on a torrent somewhere?
Probably not, but you can at fanedit.info.
Grabbed it this weekend. To be honest, its the first true fan edit besides Adywan's I've ever watched. I even got my wife to watch it with me.
Overall I thought it was entertaining. Editing-wise, I loved the cuts and twists. Using the deleted scenes and Lost Cut were great as the pacing of those scenes are really bad, but I wish the lack-of-quality was more standard. The grain kind of disappears in those, especially on the poor 2004 footage to get Biggs back in the hanger. The editing to remove what could be removed was awesome, I'd love to see a real cut without mention of Luke's father, it actually worked really well.
Sometimes the soundtrack was a bit too bizarre, and R2's "dialog" wasn't as gritty (ie: sweary) as I would have hoped and used too little. I thought the Troops footage was too distant from the other sources to be used.
We loved Vader's Force Effect. Loved it.
My wife wants a YouTube clip of R2 seeing Obi-wan and saying "hey, its me!" then ending with the "God he's old" after Obi-wan says he doesn't remember owning a droid. Cracked her up.

Thanks 005 :)
I agree on the 2004 Bigg's footage. it was a bit hard to match the Puggo grande. I think Color wise it's "okay", but would need more grain and maybe a bit more blur on it.
I'll try to make that youtube video :)
and here it is:
Nice! I love the Star Wars style font for subtitles.
That was actually one of the few things I wasn't fond of.
