Sorry this thread has become such a downer. And I didn't really have much of a chance to chime in. "My" wireless internet signal disappeared for a while. And this is also tax-free weekend in my state, which meant I was far too busy selling pretty clothes to the pretty ladies. But also, I just really didn't know what to say. For the most part, my sentiments lie in line with C3PX and A B C, although I'm not sure if I could say them with the kind of necessary force that C3PX did. There were times I was reading and wondering if he went too far, but sometimes I realize someone needs to not have any pulled punches.

If I had had a chance to formulate my words, I probably would have said a similar "do what you want to do" speech, but if I was forced to vote, I would have said "yes." I don't know if that's best for you, but I personally enjoy your presence in the Politics thread. As for your problems, I can certainly empathize to a certain extent, and you, of course, have my thoughts and well-wishes and anything else I could possibly offer you.

I will say this, though. If you are that interested in the community's opinion of you, I think the fact that so many people responded to the initial premise of this thread with helpful insight rather than complete derision and mockery speaks volumes of the level of respect and regard you have here. I think you should look to that with more weight than the outcome of the poll.
