- SILVER LUCASFILM LOGO (NOTE - the ‘Force Awakens’ version is larger)
(NOTE - I MIGHT possibly use the ‘colourful’ version instead of the ‘silver’ version…and I MIGHT go for a totally ‘hybrid’ intro. scene of my own which would go like this - 20TH CENTURY FOX logo and ‘FANFARE’ music begins/then instead of the LUCASFILM logo at this point, we’d see the STAR WARS title recede away to the rest of the ‘FANFARE’ music/then we’d see the LUCASFILM logo and the ‘A LONG TIME AGO…’ wording in silence, in the same kind of way that ROGUE ONE starts…OR ALTERNATIVELY…I MIGHT just keep the 20TH CENTURY FOX logo and LUCASFILM logo in their normal place with the ‘FANFARE’ music, and THEN have the STAR WARS title recede away in silence before we then see the ‘A LONG TIME AGO…’ wording in silence too…OR ANOTHER POTENTIAL ALTERNATIVE…I MIGHT replace the 20TH CENTURY FOX logo with the receding STAR WARS title instead, as we then see the LUCASFILM logo, and then see the ‘A LONG TIME AGO…’ wording)

(NOTE - I won’t be including either the ROGUE ONE or SOLO ‘Main Titles’ in my edits of these ‘standalone’ movie spin-offs, due to the fact that I really dislike the weak look of the ROGUE ONE font, and because I’m DISCARDING the entire first 25 mins. of SOLO altogether, including it’s ‘Main Title’. I also dislike that the SOLO ‘main title’ includes the byline ‘A Star Wars Story’ but ROGUE ONE doesn’t, even though they are BOTH ‘standalone’ spin-offs - so the A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away… wording effectively becomes the common ‘main title’ which introduces these ‘standalone’ storyline settings)
I’m intending to TOTALLY DISCARD all the various scenes that are seen BEFORE the ‘JEDHA IMPERIAL-OCCUPIED MOON/SAW’S GANG WITH BHODI’ scene (NOTE - SHOULD I LIST THEM TOO?), but here’s the movie’s current order of scenes shown AFTER that -

NOTE - although I’m DISCARDING the ‘flashback’ scene altogether, I’m still deciding whether the rest of this current order of scenes sufficiently tells the story of the ‘defector pilot’ Bhodi well enough for me in this order, or not. If not, then I’m thinking about focusing on him more right from the start like this instead -

NOTE - I MIGHT BE DISCARDING THE ‘ROGUE ONE’ AND ‘SOLO’ MAIN TITLES ALTOGETHER FOR MY VERSIONS, SO I’D CUT FROM THE SHOT OF TARKIN STARING AT THE DEATH STAR TO THE SHOT OF JYNN AWAKENING SUDDENLY INSTEAD, AS THE SHIP APPROACHES JEDHA - the choice I have to make is whether to KEEP the movie’s current order of scenes which give the impression that the REBELS know about the defector BEFORE the EMPIRE does (even though my opening scene has one of Saw’s men saying the Imperials will be looking for the defector - and also because I’m discarding the scene of Cassian being told about it by an informer)…OR to try and cut it in the way I’ve shown above - but this rests on the cut from the ship leaving Yavin 4 directly to the close-up shot of Jynn waking up suddenly working smoothly
ALTERNATIVELY - I COULD START WITH BHODI CAPTURED BY SAW’S GANG, WHICH TRANSITIONS AS NORMAL TO WOBANI PLANET AND JYN’S JAILBREAK, WHICH TRANSITIONS AS NORMAL TO YAVIN 4 AND JYN’S INTERROGATION…BUT CUT TO SAW’S LEGS AND THE BHODI’S INTEROGATION WHICH TRANSITIONS TO TARKIN ON THE DEATH STAR, AT THE END OF JYN’S INTERROGATION WHERE HER CLOSE-UP IS OFFERED FREEDOM…AND THEN CUT TO JYN AND CASSIAN WALKING IN THE BASE JUST AFTER THE SHOT OF TARKIN STARING AT THE DEATH STAR, AND ONCE THAT SCENE ENDS WITH THE SHIP ACCELERATING AWAY FROM YAVIN 4, I COULD THEN CUT TO THE CLOSE-UP OF JYN WAKING UP SUDDENLY AS THE SHIP APPROACHES JHEDDA
