Replaced the pins in a NES once. Didn't help all that much, honestly. Still a blow-fest.
Interesting?

Interesting? I replaced mine several years back and now it works just like new.

I have a Nes-clone with 15 games built-in, but I broke the controller's plug. I intend to carve a new one in wood. There used to be another controller, but that one broke a long time ago. The zapper doesn't work anymore either.
*sigh* if I were a rich man, mega mega mega mega mega mega mega maaan...
(I also have an Atari in superb condition but I only have Pole Position and Defender)

Ye?
I'm really digging Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts. The difficulty/challenge really ramps up in this game. The first couple of hours- any challenge can more or less be beaten by making your car faster, which can be done by adding an engine or 4 to it. At ~25 hours, I think I'm 2/3s of the way done, and some of the challenges in the game now are real brain teasers.
Are you still playing, DarkGryphon? If so, you should add me on XBL (xhonzi) so we each have someone to compare scores with. So far, none of my friends have/play this game. Except for my wife, and I'm tired of beating my wife.

Hey, come on. This is xhonzi we're talking about. I'm sure he must have had a legitimate reason.
Oh, unless your disparaging comment is in regards to the fact that he's tired of beating his wife, in which case... damn, you have problems, C3PX...

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

Yeah, she sucks at videogames.

Um...I just remembered I can't come to Thornton next year after all.

I still have it but I'm playing FALLOUT 3 currently. Mostly has Silver Account instead of Gold. Only other friend on it is my younger brother who currently lived out of country working for the military.

Funny I sold Fallout 3 vanilla for 360 ages ago and this week I finally bought the Game of the Year Edition for EXACTLY $31.38. I had 2/5 of the add-ons. New Vegas? No way am I playing it yet! Still playing FALLOUT 1 & 2 from the FALLOUT Trilogy DVD-ROM. Figure I complete those two, I'm rewarding myself with New Vegas. Tactics? NO CLUE.
FALLOUT 3 for PC looks like it's only $19.62 from Fry's Electronics. I might get it just for tons of "in-universe" type mods. Including adding 100 songs to GNR, higher res textures and bigger bewbles.
I'm also considering modding OBRIVION too.
Isn't the Tardis in Fallout 2?
I had a friend stay over for a few months last year and he played Fallout 3 all the time he was here.
I rather enjoyed watching him play, I even helped him crack some of the entry codes.
Cool thing about New Vegas - it's being made by much of the team that made Fallout & Fallout 2 (who were not involved with 3), but with Bethesda's Fallout 3 engine. I'm quite looking forward to it.
Oh, and for anyone who's interested in Fallout 3 on PC - I've heard it crashes waaay too often. Just a heads-up. (I haven't tried it, personally - I have the GOTY Edition for PS3.)
I have the GoTY for xbox 360, but lately I have been playing the hell out of Red Dead Redemption.
Where did you snag FO3-GOTY(360) for $30+change? Or, when you're ready to part with it, let me know.
You don't have to have Gold to compete via leaderboard. You're not playing head to head in real time, just comparing highscores for each challenge.

STOP RACIAL PROFILING ME!!!!
Ahem...
...
...I don't know really, I just sort of lost interest at some point.
Yeah, I know what Fink means about losing interest. I did too for a long time, and finding myself heading towards that point again. The only time I really enjoy playing is online (or in person) with friends. I think I have moved on from the video game equivalent of minor alcoholism to the video game equivalent of social drinking.

I've come to the realization that I am what I once hated: a casual gamer. I really only play old-school stuff, like the NES Batman game or the original Mario Party - and usually with friends.
A Goon in a Gaggle of 'em
Agreed.
I would wear that jacket.
A Goon in a Gaggle of 'em
Sorry - it's not for people who think NES is old school.*
