Well the colour correction is taking a backseat for the time being until i decide on what to do regarding the PAL 4% speedup. I was none the wiser about it (having grown up with PAL all my life) but now that I know about it, it annoys the hell out of me.
I've knocked up an example of the difference. The higher pitch of the PAL version is very obvious to me now.

Now I'm aware there are plenty of guides for converting PAL to NTSC, but what if I want it to still be PAL, but have it at the original speed?
Changing the speed of my entire project within my timeline won't work as it messes up my cuts, and any shot changes where there are no cuts, it blends the images together for a split second (due to the necessary extra frames in making the footage longer)
From what I've gathered from reading Ady's ANH:R thread, he didn't change the speed, but simply corrected the aspect ratio and pitch for his NTSC DVDs.
Anyway, enough whining. If someone can shed some light on how best to go about this, that'd be great. Here's a clip I've been sitting on for some time as a reward for anyone who's still reading :-p
