When I said I might make them different hues for consistency, I was referring to ANH when Obi's and Luke's are different shades. So having at least those two would make sense as these two hues had already been established.

However, I've realised that Ady corrected this in ANH:R (though they do still look a bit different due to the different lighting in each scene)

So I think I'll be striving to make all the Sabers the same (more cyan) tone afterall.

In other news, I've been brainstorming a way to fix all the story and logic issues in the movie and I think I've come up with an even more radically restructured story. It is quite possible I'll finish this edit, then create this alternate cut too. If it weren't for wipes, it would even be possible to have both cuts selectable on the same DVD via seamless branching. Damn you Star Wars and your fancy wipes!
