Some questions for any laserdisc gurus still out there:

1. If a player has digital out, is it able to digitally transfer the main audio (not commentary or extra audio track) from *any* laserdisc? In other words, will the earlier titles with only 1 (analogue) track still transfer audio through the digital out somehow, or will I be forced to use rca's on those early discs?

2. Any lists of players that have digital out? Recommendations for cheap ones? I only need a machine for the digital audio out (video unimportant).

3. Is there a how-to anywhere for syncing audio to video (video and audio extracted from different machines)?

thanks,
