Hmm, I am pretty sure I never said it was "so much better". Even from the beginning, I felt the first game was still way worth going back to. I feel things like the melee weapons and many of the new maps made the second game well worth getting. I did highly recommend it to you, and stand by that recommendation, but I have not ever flip flopped or reversed my opinion on this matter. I have felt this same way from the first week L4D2 was released.

As for playing L4D on Friday or Saturday evening, I think one day will work as well for me as another for me. However, my plans are subject to change at the last minute. I'll plan to be there, but there is probably about a 50% chance that something else will come up on either night.
