Yeah it was awesome. She's great in Beautiful girls as well. She's by no means a bad actress, anymore then SLJ is a bad actor. They just suck in SW for some reason. With portman I can kind of understand because she never even saw the OT before she took the part and has a best moderate interest in working on these films. But SLJ is a huge SW fan so I just don't get it, of course it doesn't help that Mace and Padme are probably the two worst written characters in the PT, there's really no place for them to go with the material, Padme is completely inconsistent in her motives and behavior from scene to scene, and Mace is about as one dimensional as they come, from what i can tell his two basic functions are to give Yoda someone to talk to, and to be the most important Jedi to die.

it's perhaps a little off-topic but:
i don't think that Anakin will know that Padme is pregnant. if he knew he would have made something to get hold of his kids and he would have succeeded being so powerfull.
and, he would have known that Padme got twins.

and i hope that more characters from the OT will appear in Ep 3. a little cameo of Han would be nice....

as I understand it he does, but believes her to have died before giving birth, when actually she died just after childbirth. That is how the twins are able to remain unknown to him.

I think you might be on to something there!

2 years is a long time to spend cooped up in a space station the size of a small moon! If I was Vader one bad ass hangover & I'd have killed every mo-fo down talking jumped up Imperial Officer in sight!

nileqt is a blemish.

she is SOOO in love with harrison ford/han solo and elijah wood, that its sickening. im NOT saying that you are as crazy as she is, and even if you are its ok; her problem was(is) that she spoke of carrie fischer/harrison ford constantly, and i mean constantly. i am sorry if i have offended you in any way. you can dig up some of her posts. she left (maybe we made her leave) this site sometime during the summer '03.

well, it's understandable, considering my nickname...
and although i really like the character of Han Solo, i'm not that big Harrison Ford fan. he's also really cool as Indiana Jones and in other movies but lately he hasn't done that well imo. and he doesn't age well i think.
i really like the romantic subplot in SW (the scene in ROTJ were Han thinks Leia is in love with Luke and say that he is won't stand in their way is one of my favourites) but there's not much to say about that, i prefer to focus on other aspects of SW.
