a few times, he's let himself down, but mostly its the Phillies lack of hitting. No one understands it, but the whole team seems to be a slump, a long slump. I think they are done for the year. : (

Slugs, when you pick up a new player, he goes to your bench, not your starting lineup.

Beats me, but that's what happens. You need to move the guy into your starting lineup yourself.
Of course, you should be checking your lineup every few days (if not every day) so you should see this yourself.
