he maybe right, but right now I think finding a job needs to be the first priority. I also need to diet and exercise. Once I have job and am in shape, then I will pursue a girlfriend.
I have always been a hopeless procrastinator. Absolutely awful. Has made my life difficult and gotten me into trouble on so many things. My mom use to always tell me, "Tomorrow never comes, and later is never here" everytime I told her something like "Don't worry I'll do it tomorrow" or "I'll take care of it in a few minutes". She was usually right, I'd forget to do it tomorrow, then I'd get in trouble.
Anyway, with that list of things to do before you even attempt to start dating, all I can say is good luck. But in all honesty, that list of yours tells me that you are not going to be going on any dates anytime soon, or likely ever. There will always be some excuse. Some buffer protecting you from what you are scared to do.
Maybe if you met a girl you really liked, you'd feel more motivated to get a job or get in shape. I am probably wrong, but I have a feeling that you are not even actively trying to get in shape at the moment, and that it is something you intend to get started on really soon. Tomorrow never comes, and really soon is never here.
Just a thought.
Also, on a minor note, you may often notice really big guys married to really gorgeous and in shape women. That is because a lot of women put other qualities above looks in their search for potential mates. Not saying you shouldn't try to look your best, but feel assured the right girl is going to like you regardless of you being out of shape. Also, take a look at the current unemployment rate? Do you think all those people put their lives on hold and stop trying to find love just because they are unemployed? Not trying to be pushy, just trying to encourage you, there is honestly no reason you couldn't/shouldn't be dating right now.
big guys with gorgeous women? yes. short guy whom are also fat? no, I can't say I've seen that too often. Again, when I say I don't have the money, I don't.
