My work on the sound design is absolutely not done randomly. Each sound is treated separately with different eq, volume and pan. There is a real spacialisation (not only putting a sound right, or left etc but make it move)

I want to give the feeling that swords are moving just in front of us. The pan of each move is thoroughly calibrated.

See the original version, sounds are really weak, like little taser...we are talking about deadly lightsabers ! not cheerleaders sticks ^^ ! And many important sounds are missing. It's not good to put a sound on every move (specialy in a duel with 5 swords) but the missing sound in the original version are really important...The result is something very sluggish.

but you're right in that point : Some sounds are redundant, I need more lightsaber sounds, but I think, "in action", with music and without focusing on it, it works very well.
