I imagine if Trooperman didn't want any comments he would just make his alterations and let us see the final result.
The names suggested sound too 'everyday' while I understand that Ben and Luke provided a precedent, those were sympathetic characters (well Ben was until he the PT came out). The majority of the characters (especially the darker ones) have slightly other-timely or other-worldly names (just not silly names like Padme or Dooku).
If Jango was called Tjango (for example) it would have sounded almost the same but looked less like "By Jingo" or "Jenga" or "Jingle" (it could have been worse George could have called him Bojangle Fett).
In the Star Wars universe the way a name looks is almost as important as the sound.
Adding a blunt letter at the beginning makes the name look more exotic and sound a little culturally shifted but also makes things easier to sync up than changing the whole name.
