I have mixed feelings. I kinda hated the guy(of that doesn't mean I'm happy he died). But in some ways, I wish he had owned the Phillies. R.I.P.
Wow, I completely missed this.
I vote they change the name of the new "Yankee Stadium" to,
"George Steinbrenner's Yankee Stadium".
George Steinbrenner was the principle driving force that took M.L. Baseball from nickels and dimes in the 70's, to billions today. That new stadium is without a doubt, the house that George built.
