Did I hear someone say "green laser debate"?

Yoda: I like where you're going with this (though I can deal with the original "as-is"), especially the "R-type" styled AT-AT lasers powering up in order to take out the shield generator (maybe could also add a Vermithrax style audio powering up sound as well as the tips of the guns glowing hotter as the energy builds up). The AT-AT "shields" collapsing was also nice in how quick and subtle it was (enough to give the impression needed).

How would it look to show lasers reflecting/bouncing off the AT-AT as well (not just absorbing into the legs and joints)?
